| 1. In the financial year 2024–25, Tamil Nadu sent out textiles worth USD 7,997.17 million, making it India’s top state for textile exports. The state’s exports have been steadily improving, with an increase of more than 29% in the last four years. Tamil Nadu has been able to beat traditional textile powerhouses like Gujarat and Maharashtra because of this growth.

| 7. A very well-preserved fossil that is only one centimeter long was found in the Gobi Desert. This is a very important paleontological find. The specimen was found in the Ukhaa Tolgod region and is thought to be one of the earliest known “micro-mammals” from the Late Cretaceous period.
