1. On-Device Storage & Media Access

Phone Cleaner: Storage Booster is a local utility tool. To perform storage analysis and cleaning functions, the app requests standard Android system permissions:

• Read & Access Media (Images & Videos): Used exclusively on-device to scan for duplicate photos, blurry images, and large unused video files that consume storage.
• Cache & App Storage Access: Used to calculate residual system cache, temporary download fragments (.tmp, .crdownload), thumbnail caches, and obsolete APK installers.

Note: All scans and analysis occur locally on your device. We do NOT upload, transfer, copy, or store your photos, videos, or files on any external cloud servers.

2. Background Task Automation (WorkManager)

The application includes an automated background cleaning scheduler using Android WorkManager. It respects battery levels and idle state to perform scheduled maintenance locally without tracking your location or personal activities.

3. Whitelist & User Data Protection

Files, folders, and photos added to your Ignore / Whitelist are stored strictly in a local SQLite/Room database on your device to ensure they are never accidentally modified or deleted.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

We do not sell, trade, or share any personal user data with third parties. Standard crash analytics or Google Play Services may collect anonymous diagnostic information (such as device model, OS version, crash logs) solely to improve stability and performance.

5. Notification Usage

With your permission, notifications are sent only to notify you of completed background cleanups, severe storage thresholds, or scheduled maintenance reminders. You can disable notifications anytime in the app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect system updates or policy requirements. Any changes will be posted immediately on this page.
